COD: World At War

I have the multiplayer beta for WAW, which you had to sign up on their website to get. The game is great. You can play 3 maps and you are limited to level 40. The best of the game is your ability to lose limbs. I first noticed it after watching the killcam of me getting blown up and realized that my arm had been blown off at the elbow. Another time it happened I got shot in the legs with a double-barreled shotgun at close range. Both of legs were gone at the kneecap. The only downfall of this new addition is that the loss seems to occur only at the knee or elbow and you still can't lose your head. The game is very realistic and much gorier. It is definitely not for the faint of heart. I have enjoyed the time I spent playing on it.

today i found an awesome extension for firefox. it allows you to type in leet which is very handy and makes it mush easier to do it. to find it just type leet firefox in google and look for an extension link to get it. you definitely should.

School Assignment on Blog

I just got done answering questions on a blog my teacher set up. It is probably the best assignment I've ever done. I am technology savvy and would prefer this over anything else. It was much easier to just answer the questions by leaving a comment than anything else could ever be. I want all of our assignments to be on a blog.

OpenDNS

Today I set up an account with OpenDNS. Which has a number of security features and also just cool features. I found when i noticed that the Plymouth School District uses it. They use it to forbid students access to sites they shouldn't be on. Although you can get around that security measure by changing the DNS of that computer. I'm using it mostly to annoy people, but it's still cool. Using OpenDNS is also so supposed to make your internet faster and I think it does.

How to Make The New Picture

The new header picture was done using paint.net which is another image editing program. The picture was really quite simple. I started with flames that I had made earlier with a a clouds render. Then I put the text on. After which I outlined it twice. Then, the hard part, I found a GTA4 picture and cut it out and put it behind the text. The next picture I did was the Master Chief one. That one is also a layer behind the text. The last picture I did was the Crackdown one, which is one layer in front of the background.
I did that all in about 20 minutes, including deciding what I was going to do, using a picture I already had and finding some with Google Images. So it's really not that hard to make nice header pictures

Today I found Wix.com. It's great it makes things with flash for you. It has a point and click interface so you don't really have to do anything. I made this in a few minutes.

Today I finally got the css for my website right. I had been trying to do it for weeks, but then gave up. Today, however I was home alone and did it in approximately 5 hours. Amazing how it all comes together once you know what you're doing. You can visit the site here. I think it's pretty nice. I'm completely done though. It still needs more pictures and information. In case your wondering I'm Josh on the About page. I did that picture with Gimp. Which is a free picture editor. I think it's a pretty good Photoshop substitute. Although nothing that I've seen is as nice as Photoshop. You can get Gimp here.

Hello

Lately I've been using Myspace more and I just found and app that's worth while. It's called mobsters. In it you make a mob. My Myspace is Billy from the Land of the Fluffy Bunnies. So if you want to join my mob add me as a friend and I'll invite you to the mob. It's pretty fun. Currently the mob has a townhouse that it makes money off of. You have to love organized crime. Anyway I now hate HP because I have deemed my hp media center pc sucky. It won't install Ubuntu. So I'm mad. The stupid thing freezes half way through loading the desktop. And it's not the cd because the cd works on my other computer and I've tried more than one disk. So I hate HP.

I got Battlefield:Bad Company. I like the game. Although it could have
better graphics. I also noticed a glitch while a was going through the
single-player, but I drove tanks threw many buildings so I think it
made up for it. I also enjoy having a weapon mounted grenade launcher
that shoots down walls. So don't want to walk around the building to
the door, just make your own door. This pretty much all I found it
useful for. It was really quite hard to kill more than one person. The
best way I could find to use it is to shoot down a wall and shoot the
people inside.

Hello. I had to go to Summer School today. It sucked, but now I'm home and I'd just like to say hello. I got Rock Band yesterday it's awesome up until you sign out and sign back in because then you band disappears. Unless you have the same gamer profiles in the exact place. Which is really stupid. Even so, the game is awesome. So I'll get over it.

I've had fun on my vacation, but now I'm back. So today I tried to install Ubuntu and I kept getting stuck at the loading screen with a bar forming. If anyone knows why this is please e-mail me or comment to let me know. On another note I should be getting Rock Band tomorrow for my 360. That should be exciting. By the way, if anyone has a Xbox Live account you should leave a comment here with your gamertag. I can also let you into my clan too. This is post number 5. I have nothing to talk about. Except, my trial with Ubuntu was curtailed(new word) when I had to leave. So I started to load the 64bit version which took me 3 tries to get to the desktop and then had to leave. Man I'm mad. I think I'm going to punch something. No not really I'm not violent, or am I, think about it;). On another note I might not post anything for the next two weeks. As tomorrow I am going to Michigan. The day after I get back I'm leaving for D.C. For those of you commi-nazis(click here if you don't know what that is) that is our capitol. Which is very interesting because it was established that it wouldn't be in the north or south. So they put it in the middle. Another thing was they couldn't decide which state to put it in. So they put it in none. Hence the District of Columbia. Or so I remember. (What I like stupid facts) The more commonly excepted explanation is that D.C. is where the aliens told George Washington to build it. I personally like the latter, but I'm sure Google knows the answer. I'm just lazy. Oh yeah by the way I like putting links in my posts. It's just kind of fun. Oh and you know what I made that title picture it's actually clouds. Owned. I almost forgot a cool trick on the links at least in firefox is. Today, was my last day of school where we actually had to do something. Hurray! Tonight I'm going to try to install Ubuntu on a computer I have sitting around. For those of you who don't know what Ubuntu is it is a Linux Operating System. After my many frustrations with the reliableness of XP I'm going to try something new. And yes I do know enough html to add a link to my page. I am really quite pleased with my decision to learn about web development. It is has come in very handy lately. I suggest you learn enough html to make links and things. One of the most useful things I've used it for is Myspace which i don't really use, but I used my css knowledge to make it pretty. Another thing I've done is started on a website for my DJ service from scratch. Using Dreamweaver(which might be cheating)I've got a pretty good start. Here it is Although it's kind of a work in progress I think the template is pretty nice.

Another Thing That Makes Me Mad

Call of Duty 4 Seriously, whoever thought it was a good idea to not allow two people to play online on the same console is an idiot and should be fired. Furthermore, why wouldn't you be able to play with two people on the same console and with people on other consoles. I think this is the best part of Halo 3 and that COD4 should have copied it. Also the party feature sucks. If you are in a party, but then want to leave the game,but not your party, you have to coordinate amongst yourselves when everyone will leave. This is another thing that should have been taken from Halo. In Halo 3 if the party leader leaves then his party comes with. In Call of Duty if he leaves then everyone else is still in his party, they can just never get back to a game with him. He literally has to invite everyone all over again. Don't get me wrong I love COD4. I mean really how can you not like hitting someone in the head with a Barrett .50 caliber and seeing the blood splatter hit the adjacent wall. That's just frickn awesome. So overall I think Call of Duty 4 is a great game, they just missed a couple of things.

GTA 4

Yesterday I sucked it up and finally used cheats on Grand Theft Auto 4. Which I have had since it came out. I was completely discouraged when all of cheats sucked. I guess they would have been better if the remove wanted level actually worked over 3 stars and if the no cops in the game cheat was actually a cheat and not just some idiot crushing the hopes of everyone.
